Sunnamusk is a specialist fragrance house that produces an exclusive range of pure fine oils, perfumes and home fragrances. They currently have 11 stores in the UK and stores in countries such as France & Germany.

Their popularity has skyrocketed over the years, with a huge customer base across the entire globe. The previous website could not keep up with the demand. What they required was a custom e-commerce website that was fit for their growing brand.

Designing the website

The new design of the website showcased their sophisticated, modern, and clean brand via the visual assets and clean user interface. The website looks just as good on mobile as it does on desktop. User journey

The overall goal was to give customers everything required to understand the product and offers available and follow up with a clean checkout process. The website reflects the in-store experience as close as possible, ensuring consistency and trust.

Custom fragrance finder

This website is the total package. Sunnamusk required a custom fragrance finder that allowed customers to search for fragrances they might like based on their favourite scents and fragrance notes. This ensured they were one step closer to offering an online experience as close to being in-store as possible.

Featured Products

It was important to have their signature collection stand out amongst their vast range of perfumes – a featured collections page was required to showcase those products. The page displayed the fragrance notes and any relevant images and video to give customers a better understanding of the scent prior to purchase.

Products page

As the majority of Sunnamusk’s products differ in size and bottle style it had to be designed to allow customers to choose the preferred options before adding to their shopping cart. All product pages include logic to also apply multiple purchase discounts across their range of products.

Search and filter

Can’t find what you’re looking for? The website features a very thorough filter option to allow customers to narrow down the product range to find products similar to other popular existing perfumes in the market. It can also be based on intensity, occasion, season, and other options.

Commercial video production

As the busiest shopping period for retailers approaches i.e. Christmas and New Year, Sunnamusk wanted to launch a powerful campaign to tell a story that their audience e could resonate with. The creative iirth team got to work on a script and storyboard. Once approved the actors were casting, the sets were prepared and the perfect team was assembled and ready for production.

Lights, camera, action!

Time was of the essence and it was important to shoot, edit, approve and launch before their competitors. After careful planning and direction, the entire shoot was conducted in a single day in over 3 locations across Central London and Essex. This involved a great team of optimists and once completed and live the results were staggering!
