Glass Openings are manufacturers and suppliers of aluminium bespoke bi-folds, doors and a wide variety of windows. They have years of trading experience in the industry and are one of the most trusted names in the business.

Problem

The one aspect of their running operation which was lacklustre was their website. Their previous website was outdated in terms of design, wasn’t optimised for mobile devices and the entire system lacked functionality. It wasn’t fit for purpose and it wasn’t generating sales.

Solution

We sat down with the client and brainstormed ways in which we could take functionality to the next level, offering something that competitors don’t. We designed a bespoke product configurator which allowed users to custom design their doors and windows, down to a tee. Including choosing the size, the finish and all the endless list of customisable options that come with it.

We worked alongside one of the UK’s most advanced 3D modelling and animation agencies to help get the models in place for the configurator. These models worked hand-in-hand with the configurator and allowed customers to preview how their custom configurated products would look in real time.

Creating a sales-driven website was our goal. The website was designed to make the entire process of creating a bespoke product, all the way to checkout, as simple and user-friendly as possible.
